the otaku side of me

Zenkai Girl is not a romantic comedy. If a rom-com makes you cry and hurt all over, then I ain’t gonna watch any more. But it did make me think and appreciate Ryo-chan all the more.

Battle Royale 1 was kick ass! Battle Royale 2 was well, it was heavy and idealistic and it was so different from the gory movie it promised to be.

I just can’t make myself finish Kame’s Tata Hitotsu and Sapuri. For the love of me and Kame- I can’t bear it. I can’t get his Yamato Nadekisho face in my head!

for more PI

This weekend was all about YamaPi. Since my sem is over I gave myself the liberty to watch all the dorama I can.

Kurosagi was so hard to watch. I don’t want to see Pi so hurt. Code Blue was bearable, but Pi was so arrogant and clearly lacked any emotion. Code Blue 2 was better. Pi, daisuki!!!

So true

From JPop PH.

I think this is so true…

Fangirls, banzai! Banzai! Banzai!!!

So that people will understand, us (fangirls)
What a psychologist says about fangirls

A psychologist says: “Don’t underestimate those children who chase after Japanese/Korean celebrities, their hearts are purer than anyone else, they love courageously, they will want to try their best to tackle difficult obstacles, the language and cultural barriers. They symbolise peace, they don’t discriminate based on race, they befriend people with the same interest from different countries, they’re more passionate and warm than anyone else. They don’t betray the ones they like easily, they are persistent and don’t give up easily. They are stronger than anyone else on the inside, because when they are loving these Japanese/Korean stars, they experience the setbacks they’ve never experienced in life. They are all sensitive children, easily touched to tears for a long time because of one incident.

Through investigation, most of them understand gratitude. Their way of thinking is different from others, they don’t easily get carried away by love, they don’t harbour thoughts of doing bad things, and their criteria when looking for a partner is very high, other than looks, personality is more important, so the rate of marriage isn’t high, but neither is the rate of divorce.

Their memory is very good, they can easily remember the Japanese/Korean lyrics they don’t understand, and their coordination skills are also very strong. Most of them are cheerful children, not the kind who keep to themselves. Their will of determination is also very strong, they are able to persevere all the way just to buy something related to the celebrity they like.

In short, the way these children think is vastly different from others, and their thoughts are not easy to understand. Generally, only those who have similar interests are able to enter their world and understand it.

YamaPi is love!

Good things happen to those who wait – especially if what you’re waiting for is the subtitles for the movie Kimi ni Todoke.

So just imagine my glee when I found out that the movie is already up in one of the most awesome sites there exists:! I think all my tiredness disappeared; well not all, just a considerable amount. Yey!!!

If I loved Haruma Miura in High School Samurai, I love him more now because of this! hahaha. Oh yeah! I’m in drama heaven right now!!!

First time with the king

Ok. I am really a late bloomer. Not only did I come to love anime and dorama late in mylife, I am also late in getting to know the king of dorama.

But that changed today.

I just had my fair share of the dorama king himself. My first experience with him is Love Generation. And I’m just realizing that the King was made king because well, there’s just no one like him.

Although it was weird watching a dorama that was made during the late 90’s; it was still kinda worth it. Everything was old but it was old in a dorama way still.

I can’t elaborate that much, but my favorite line would be not between him but with Riko and her dad.

“Sorry for making you worry.

I was never worried.

So you knew?

I knew when you came back that you were just running away.

I’m sorry.

It’s ok. Just as long as you know where to run away to then that’s fine.”

That was dorama in its absolute greatness! But of course, the moments with Riko and Teppei are just made up of dorama magic. Sure, I don’t like the fact that she was clingy and jealous all the time. Plus, he was so-s0. Well, two imperfect people make one true to life relationship.

I now understand why, of all people, he is considered the Dorama King. Kimura has that boyish charm that can easily transform to a manly aura in a matter of seconds. Oh, and his nose! My gosh his nose! Plus his smile!

Consider me a part of his fan club.

“I think it’s impossible for me to just be friends with you…

I just can’t.”

I think I would say the same thing to YamaPi if I were in the same situation as Riko in Buzzer Beat. Heck, I won’t care if he sport that curly do all your lives just as long as I get to see his beautiful and handsome face.

As mentioned in my previous post, I am into YamaPi lately. I am so into him, I really want to be in Japan to watch his latest movie, Ashita no Joe. Yamapi can you be mine?

I guess there’s nothing I wouldn’t do if you salute me like this:

This is something I have not done for a while now. But let’s just say that YamaPi was enough to make me resort to this kind of behavior. Yeah, I’m going back to my first love: nihon jin!!!

I was stressing so I decided to make myself happy. I started watching a dorama; Stand Up! The story was interesting enough to make me stick to finishing the first episode. Sure, it was a story about 4 perv friends- but YamaPi was there!

So yeah… I’m totally crushing him right now. I mean who wouldn’t right? Especially when he starts smiling… gyah!
