– is the summer that I tried to catch up on my watch list!

I finally finished Crows Zero 2 and actually got what the story is all about! I love Serizawa! Bloody Monday was bloody. I couldn’t stand Sato and I felt so bad for Miura.

I couldn’t stand Sho’s Quiz Show. But I liked Yokuyama there.

How do they do it? How can other people commit to blogging? It has been several months and I have yet to post a decent blog on what I’ve been watching. This blog should just be a log book; not a blog. O Giselle, why not write blog on what you watch? But since I want to write again, let us be happy with the following log:

In as much as I loved Tamaki’s antics in Ouran Highschool Host Club – I am a Kyoya-senpai fun! Especially that police outfit!!! I became a Junpei fangirl after watching Highschool Debut but went all gaga after  Detective Conan.  Acchan didn’t really astound me as Mizuki in Hana Kimi 2011. Naramiya is the perfect Yankee-kun(to Megane-chan)!!!

Maybe? Must be! Pride made me a fan of Queens. KimuTaku for the win! Though, I wasn’t really happy with Engine that much. Who would’ve thought I’d actually like AKB48? I never thought it possible but I changed my mind after watching Majisuka Gakuin.

Who became a Junbait? Me! Me! Me! Darn that Gokusen series! I scream of Shin-Yankumi OTP! So why is Sawada Shin missing in the Gokusen movie? Tell me! Tell me! I even went as far as read the manga and watch the anime but no! Not enough!

Makes me question why Masaki died in I give my heart to you! And why did the 2nd die in Nurarihyon no mago? Sure I appreciate that it’s crucial for the story but that was so sad! Good thing the story with Nurarihyon and O-hime was worth it!

I can’t bear to watch another Ryo drama so I didn’t finish his Ganbatte ikemashoi and Nini. But I did endure and eventually liked Nino and Sho’s Yamada Taro Monogatari. I still can’t bear finishing Belzeebub but I got a little teary eyed when I saw the last episode of Bleach. Why end like that? Why?

Good thing I had a good laugh with My Boss, My Hero. Gotta love Koki in that series. So who loves KOKI? ME! ME! ME!

After everything I’ve said- what’s the lesson of this story? Fandom never stops.

I guess this will always be a cycle. Just when I thought I would be a die-hard fangirl for this season, I find myself gong back to my otaku roots.I am being lulled back into reading my beloved mangas.

It has been such a long time since I read Kimi ni Todoke. I thought Shaman King was over but no! They just released the Remix Track plus the sequel Flowers. And I just finished reading 6 months worth of the latest Bleach chapters! I’m tempted to read Naruto…but not tempted enough.

I have yet to know what’s been happening with Fairy Tail and Belbo! I don’t even want to start with the new season of  Shakugan no Shana.

My schedule is already full with work, raket, Masters and doramas… Ouran High School, Hana Kimi remake

Will this ever end???

Zenkai Girl is not a romantic comedy. If a rom-com makes you cry and hurt all over, then I ain’t gonna watch any more. But it did make me think and appreciate Ryo-chan all the more.

Battle Royale 1 was kick ass! Battle Royale 2 was well, it was heavy and idealistic and it was so different from the gory movie it promised to be.

I just can’t make myself finish Kame’s Tata Hitotsu and Sapuri. For the love of me and Kame- I can’t bear it. I can’t get his Yamato Nadekisho face in my head!

for more PI

This weekend was all about YamaPi. Since my sem is over I gave myself the liberty to watch all the dorama I can.

Kurosagi was so hard to watch. I don’t want to see Pi so hurt. Code Blue was bearable, but Pi was so arrogant and clearly lacked any emotion. Code Blue 2 was better. Pi, daisuki!!!

So true

From JPop PH.

I think this is so true…

Fangirls, banzai! Banzai! Banzai!!!

So that people will understand, us (fangirls)
What a psychologist says about fangirls

A psychologist says: “Don’t underestimate those children who chase after Japanese/Korean celebrities, their hearts are purer than anyone else, they love courageously, they will want to try their best to tackle difficult obstacles, the language and cultural barriers. They symbolise peace, they don’t discriminate based on race, they befriend people with the same interest from different countries, they’re more passionate and warm than anyone else. They don’t betray the ones they like easily, they are persistent and don’t give up easily. They are stronger than anyone else on the inside, because when they are loving these Japanese/Korean stars, they experience the setbacks they’ve never experienced in life. They are all sensitive children, easily touched to tears for a long time because of one incident.

Through investigation, most of them understand gratitude. Their way of thinking is different from others, they don’t easily get carried away by love, they don’t harbour thoughts of doing bad things, and their criteria when looking for a partner is very high, other than looks, personality is more important, so the rate of marriage isn’t high, but neither is the rate of divorce.

Their memory is very good, they can easily remember the Japanese/Korean lyrics they don’t understand, and their coordination skills are also very strong. Most of them are cheerful children, not the kind who keep to themselves. Their will of determination is also very strong, they are able to persevere all the way just to buy something related to the celebrity they like.

In short, the way these children think is vastly different from others, and their thoughts are not easy to understand. Generally, only those who have similar interests are able to enter their world and understand it.

YamaPi is love!

Tadaima! Gie-chan is back.

It’s been a long while since I last put something here. But of course, this doesn’t mean I didn’t watch anything. I did! I saw a lot and… I am more convinced that I am a fangirl through and through. I sure hope I can remember all the things I saw.

Just for the purposes of documentation:

Heartstrings. Gyah! I didn’t feel like Go Mi Nam cheated on Hwang Tae Kyung. This was all about Shin Hye and Lee Kung!

Yukan Club. This is the series where I fell in love with Jin.

Bandage. This is the movie where Jin broke my heart.

Atashi no Danshi. Love Maki. Nippoon Banzai and Banzai sauna scenes!!!

Love Shuffle. YAY PANDA!!!

Why did I choose to buy this DVDs?

Not that I don’t really like this series, I think I could have picked a better one. Sure I really liked Keiko’s performance as Riko in Buzzer Beat, but as Momoko- what the?!

Mop girl was actually ok; just not very intriguing as a series. Sure she could go back in time to help dead people not die. But relationally there was just no spark! Can’t I have a decent love story when I really need one?

With all the going back to the past, I’m still confused if Otomo-san actually found out that it was his girlfriend that saved Momoko. Honestly, the one episode that I really connected with is the last one. I actually thought he died… but no!

“If she doesn’t win and that ball doesn’t get in, I’m seriously gonna strangle somebody!” These were my thoughts during the last minutes of watching  Pro Golfer Hana. I mean seriously, how can a show be so-so exasperating?

Sure, I did laugh a lot the first few episodes. Ok, I laughed-out-loud like I was the only person in the room. It is that kind of series; the one that is really just non-sensical. And yes, I also giggled like a schoolgirl in Episode 4.

BUT still- why? I know it’s unfair to demand sense and logic from a dorama but did it have to go as far as selling her house and evicting the entire family?! And how can anyone be as *forgive me for the word* stupid as Hana? Yeah, she’s a pure- hearted girl intent on pursuing her dream; but did she have to be so dense and trusting and so utterly naive?

Yes, I did not like this series very much. Considering that I bought this DVD in Singapore for how many dollars and the subs went all bad after the 2nd episode. But I think it was ok enough because I did finish it in one go. I finished all 13 episodes in 1 night and I slept before midnight!

But I still can’t forgive the writers! Why did Riku-san have to be that annoying? And the little sister was weird. How come they allowed her to play the ‘wife’ part? Ack… And the coach!

Still, the series has also some good points. I really have a soft spot for fellows that are supportive. His nickname from the family rocked. Ne, ikemen-san?
